Hello there!

I am a Junior Resarch Group Leader at the Leibniz-HKI in Jena, Germany, heading the lab of Metabolomics-guided Natural Product Discovery.

I am broadly interested in microbial biochemistry, with a particular focus on the structure, function, and biosynthesis of specialized metabolites. To identify and study these molecules, I use a variety of techniques, with a particular focus on high-resolution liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
